Martin Sutherland

Course Instructor

Martin has been in the emergency response industry since 1994 as a Volunteer Fire Fighter based on the Kapiti Coast and is still a member of the Paraparaumu Fire Brigade. Martin has been involved with training since 2004 firstly with the New Zealand Fire Service training Volunteer Fire Fighters and since 2006 as the Senior Instructor for FETS. Martin has gained a National Certificate in Adult Education Level 4 and 5.

Shane Hegan

Course Instructor

Shane was with the New Zealand Fire Service for 31 years, 20 of those were here in Wellington. He retired at Senior Station Officer level and has spent the last 3 years sailing around Asia in a 44' sail boat. Shane joined our team in September 2009 and with his previous background has complemented the FETS team.

Trevor Moss

Director / Owner

Trevor has been involved in the emergency industry since 1977, 19 of those years as a professional fire-fighter based in Wellington and now as a volunteer with the Paraparaumu Fire Brigade. He has been involved with training since 1988, firstly with the NZ Fire Service training fire-fighters and since 1998 as the Managing Director of FETS.

Although Trevor is involved directly with training from time to time, his key role now is liaison with NZQA, the various Industry Training Organisations (ITO) and most importantly FETS clients.

Dave McPake

Director / Owner

Dave has been in the emergency response industry since 1985 and maintains his level of expertise by still being a professional fire-fighter with the NZ Fire Service. Dave too has been involved for many years in the training field both with the NZ Fire Service and with FETS.

Sandy McPake

Business Manager

As Business Manager, Sandy oversees the office operation as well as being involved in sales and marketing. Sandy liaises with clients and helps them put together training plans in conjunction with their ITO.


 


 
Amber Mansfield

Course co-ordinator

As course coordinator, Amber and is responsible for ensuring all staff know where they are going and what they are doing. She is the first point of contact for most clients and schedules courses to suit.




Megan McIlroy

Course Administrator

Megan is responsible for ensuring that the instructors have the correct paper work for each course and then follows up at the end of the course by completing the end of course reports, certificates and loading any NZQA credits on to the frame work.







Areene Dantanarayana

Financial Administrator

Areene is responsible for both accounts receivable and accounts payable.



Deane Chalmers

Southland Manager
