Breathing Apparatus

Download PDF Brochure

The use of specialist equipment such as Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) requires a level of training to reflect the nature of the environment to which an individual will enter. By virtue of the need to don SCBA one must accept that there is potential danger to the wearer. The training received prior to entry will therefore mean the difference between a safe and successful operation and potential harm to the wearer.

FETS has developed a range of SCBA courses designed to meet the industries AS/NZ 1715:2009 needs as well as that of NZQA.
