First Aid
People with First Aid skills are always a valuable asset to any organisation. Trained to know what to do in a medical emergency or accident, they have an important role during the vital minutes from the incident occurring until professional help arrives.
Team members of an emergency response team should all be skilled in life support techniques.
As with all our training we aim for the highest standards and therefore we train to the NZQA unit standards. The units are also recognised by the Occupational Safety and Health department as meeting the requirements for persons managing first aid in the workplace.

- Comprehensive First Aid
- Basic First Aid
- First Aid Refresher
- CPR
- Oxygen Therapy
- Advisory Shock Defibrillation (AED)
Group Size: Normally 10 - 12 people per instructor
Location: Your workplace
Duration: Dependant on level of training required

6401 : Provide Basic First Aid
6402 : Provide Basic Life Support
6400 : Manage First Aid
