STCW95
STCW95 (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) is a practical marine course covering water safety and rescue. Refresher courses available.
FETS is accredited with Maritime NZ to run basic STCW95 courses.

- Personal safety and social responsibility (PSSR)
- Elementary First Aid (EFA)
- Personal survival techniques (PST)
- Fire prevention and fire fighting techniques (FPFF)
- Crowd management and passenger safety (CMT)
Group Size: 10 people minimum

Duration: 6-8 days depending on your outcome requirements

12309: Demonstrate knowledge of abandon ship procedures and sea survival techniques
12310: Demonstrate knowledge of fire prevention, limiting of fires onboard a vessel, and extinguish small controlled fires
15028: Demonstrate passenger management procedures during a maritime emergency onboard a passenger vessel
18408: Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency warden duties in the workplace
20776: Put on, wear, and operate a gas suit in the dairy industry
25044: Wear and operate compressed air breathing apparatus in the workplace
