Working at Height
In construction and allied industries falls from heights have been identified as a significant hazard that leads to many deaths and serious harm accidents.
Most falls are preventable providing common sense is used and people think about what they are doing. Our course has application to a wide range of work situations where workers are placed in a position where a fall is possible.
During the working at heights training course the participants will focus on the three main aspects of an effective fall prevention strategy.
Topics Covered:
- Assess the risk of injury to a person should a fall of less than 3 meters occur that has potential for harm.
- Control the risks by having in place systems which will prevent the fall.
