"Taylor Preston has found FETS very flexible and willing to work in with our operational requirements to get training our completed. Staff have enjoyed the delivery methods used and found the tutors very knowledgeable and passionate about the topics they present. The knowledge transfer to staff has had immediate effect, and been applied to practical applications within the organisation quickly."

Testimonials
"I found the course to be interesting and very informative. It prompted many questions when I got back to the office which has highlighted a few areas that our organisation will improve.
I also found the civil defence preparedness and earthquake tsunami discussion at the end of the course to be very helpful. My family live in Eastbourne and my children go to school there. Learning that we may only have 3-4 mins to get ourselves up a hill and out the path of a potential tsunami that could result from a major earthquake in Wellington is important to know. I am not sure that the school evacuation drill has made it quickly enough yet!
Learning that staying above 30 meters and ideally inside our 16 storey building, because tsunami may slosh back from the Hutt Valley end of the harbour into Wellington CBD where my office is located, is potentially another lifesaving tip. Without this knowledge, many people may be more inclined to run out there buildings soon after a major earthquake not expecting the water movements to last up to 18-20 hours afterwards."

"I am writing to inform you of the positive comments I have received with regards to the training your company has delivered to our staff on site to date this year. Of particular note is the number of senior staff who commented on the amount of new information they learned on the refresher courses they attended.
Your facilitators/tutors were well presented, well organised and set a high standard for our staff to step up to.
Thank you for the informative Course Reports and the feedback I received from you via our telephone conversations. I look forward to working with your team again next season."
Maureen, Fonterra.
"The consultancy and training that FETS have provided for us has always been of a high standard. They are incredibly flexible and accommodating and will go out of their way to make sure that the training meets our needs. The training is always designed and delivered in conjunction with our requirements and with our constraints in mind, which is often difficult given the complexities of our industry’s strict regulations and the 24/7 nature of our operation.
FETS also worked closely with us and our ITO to link NZQA unit standards to our training whilst still ensuring it met Maritime rules. The trainers have an amazing amount of real life experience which adds to the authenticity and professionalism of courses, and takes it beyond ‘training’ to equipping our crew with essential skills for safety and survival – they have a real passion for what they do, and a commitment for doing it right.
The high standards they apply to the completion and sign-off of training standards shows their dedication to safety."

"Thanks for your email but I think I should be the one saying thank you to you guys! I have been raving about the course and you all - it was such a high standard of training and such a fantastic high quality course. I learnt so many valuable skills – this morning I even went around the office out of curiosity to see what fire extinguishers we have! (Dry powder). I think Interislander are very lucky that they can send their new recruits to the likes of yourself, Brendan and Martin to be trained. You all have so much knowledge and lucky for us you can communicate this knowledge in a way that is effective for our level. I can’t think of a thing I would change about it. The supervisors may think of something, but I’m mindful it is quite a lot to take in as is, so personally I would be reluctant to change the structure too much."
Anna, Interislander.
