Height Safety Training

Falls from height contribute to a significant number of  accidents every year.  Many of these falls are as simple as falling off a ladder, significantly changing people’s working and family lives.

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 a PCBU must ensure the health and safety of  workers and that other people are not put at risk by its work.

Trainees will take a systematic approach to assessing risks associated with height work. Particularly, where reasonably practicable the  control requires the wearing of a harness in a work positioning, fall restraint or fall arrest  system.

At completion of training, trainees will be confident in assessing risks associated with working at height, selecting, wearing and use of height safety equipment.
